It’s time to experience Santa’s Magical Arrival, a tree lighting, seasonal treats, and more at your local Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s!
The Bass Pro Shops / Cabela’s Santas Wonderland is a fabulous in-store extravaganza of activities for kids (and adults). Best part, it’s all FREE! (Well, of course you’ll pick up SOME gifts while you’re there.)
The festivities begin Saturday, November 2, 2024 and run through Tuesday, December 24, 2024, with lots of games and activities, crafts, and free photos with Santa.
SANTA’S ARRIVAL AT BASS PRO SHOPS AND CABELA’S

On Saturday, November 2, 2024, Santa will arrive at Bass Pro Shops in Atlanta, GA from the North Pole in a TRACKER Boat to host a FREE parade event that transforms the retailer into a magical Christmas village with FREE festive treats, fun activities and giveaways.
This is guaranteed to be a day full of fun!
NOTE: Photos with Santa will officially begin on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
SANTAS WONDERLAND PHOTOS IN 2024
Bass Pro Shops / Cabela’s is continuing the beloved tradition of visiting Santa Claus this holiday season!
Families who visit Santa receive a FREE 4×6 studio-quality photo! Additional photo packages are also available for purchase and print instantly in the store. In addition, families can mail their letter to Santa, and receive free giveaways while supplies last.
Reservations are now available, and dates will continue to open on a rolling basis seven days in advance. Visitors without reservations are welcome and will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

OTHER ACTIVITIES AT SANTAS WONDERLAND
In addition to free photos with Santa, there are free activities for the kids too. Here’s a quick rundown.
- Santa Party. The magic begins with Santa’s arrival on November 2, 2024. Families are invited to tailgate at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s for a festive parade to kick off the Christmas season, featuring Santa as he returns to open Santa’s Wonderland!
- Yuletide Breakfast: Join Santa and his helpers for a festive breakfast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 16 and 23, and December 7. Reservations are free, required and limited to six seats per family with photos included – so be sure to book early!
- Tuesday Storytimes. Reserve a time to gather with Santa (or Mrs. Claus) for “Christmas Tales” every Tuesday from Nov. 5 – Dec. 17, 2024.
- Free Giveaways. Each week, there will be free giveaways while supplies last.
- Write a Letter to Santa. Write your letter to Santa and receive an email back!
- Craft and Activity Table. While the parents shop, let the kids make something to take home.
- November 4-15: Tea Light Tree Craft
- November 18-December 6: Wood Ornament Craft
- December 9-24: Bass Cookie Cutter
- Gaming Station. Try out the latest games at the Gaming Station.
- Lincoln Logs Building Area. Before there were LEGOS, there were Lincoln Logs. Build your own rustic outpost.
- Play in the Dirt. Who could resist, no outdoor gear needed.
- Laser Arcade. I couldn’t get my boys (or my husband) out of here. Love the laser arcade.
- Foam Shooting Gallery. If there is a line at the laser arcade, head to the foam toy arcade shooting gallery. So much fun.
- Remote Control Truck Driving. This is a great way to test out the latest remote control cars.
Tip: I didn’t realize Bass Pro Shops was open ON Thanksgiving; could be a fun, inexpensive “get the kids out of the house with those cousins that are way too rowdy” idea.
