Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops Atlanta (FREE)

Bass Pro Shops Santa’s Wonderland is a fabulous in-store extravaganza of activities for kids (and adults). Best part, it’s allbass-pro-shops-santas-wonderland FREE (well, of course you’ll pick up SOME gift while you’re there.)

The festivities kicked on Saturday, Nov. 10th, but don’t worry if you missed  the opening, Santa’s Wonderland goes through December 24 with lots of games and activities, crafts, and free photos with Santa.

How to Score Bass Pro Shops Santa Photos

As you can image free photos with Santa is a big deal. To make things go smoothly, bet a Bass Pass. The pass gives you a time slot for your visit with Santa and it’s required in order to see him (no walk ups). The cool thing is you don’t have to wait in line, you can explore Santa’s Wonderland or shop while you wait in a virtual line. And I’d take a virtual line over a real one any day. And you walk away with a free 4×6 photo with the big man in red! If you want, you can purchase additional photo packages or even Christmas cards.

Note: The Bass Passes are limited and as you can imagine they go fast each day, so if you want to get a Bass Pro Shops Santa pictures, make sure you get there early to secure your pass.

Other Activities  at Winter Wonderland

In addition to free photos with Santa, there are free activities for the kids too. Here’s a quick rundown

Free Crafts. Each week there is a different craft that you can make between noon and 5 pm

Free Plush. There is a different one each week. The first 100 kids to have their picture taken with Santa Claus receive a free plush. (Monday – Thursday only)

Write a Letter to Santa. Write your letter to Santa and receive an email back!

Craft and Activity Table. While the parents shop, let the kids make something to take home.

Gaming Station. Try out the latest games at the Gaming Station

Lincoln Logs Building Area. Before there were LEGOS, there were Lincoln Logs. Build your own rustic outpost.

Play in the Dirt. Who could resist, no outdoor gear needed.

Laser Arcade. I couldn’t get my boys (or my husband) out of here. Love the laser arcade.

Foam Shooting Gallery. If there is a line at the laser arcade, head to the foam toy arcade shooting gallery. So much fun.

Remote Control Truck Driving. This is a great way to test out the latest remote control cars.

Note. All activities are NOT available on all days, so check before you go.

Tip: I didn’t realize Bass Pro Shops was open ON Thanksgiving; could be a fun, inexpensive “get the kids out of the house with those cousins that are way too rowdy” idea.

Where is the Bass Pro Shop? The link says: …. Sorry, this page is not currently available!

  2. The article gets one detail wrong – the Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops’ stores opens at 5PM on November 12, 2016. Nov 14 was last year’s date. It’s open through 24 December. Great info otherwise – and during the week there are incentives to visit when lines are shorter

There is also one in Macon and Savannah… Macon might be closer to you. I haven’t heard about the store there but my guess is that they are doing it too. I’d give them a call. 🙂
