You’re Staring at Your Phone. Go See the History of It Instead.

You’re still looking at your phone. I’m telling you to go look at the history of it.

Mimms Museum of Technology and Art in Roswell is doing something massive this spring. Two exhibits. One building. A whole lot of history.

iNSPIRE: Fifty Years of Innovation from Apple

On April 1, 2026, Mimms Museum debuts one of the largest collections of Apple products ever publicly displayed. It’s called iNSPIRE: Fifty Years of Innovation from Apple.

We are talking more than 20,000 square feet of space dedicated to over 2,000 rare artifacts, early prototypes, and iconic devices.

This isn’t just old computers sitting on tables. It’s an immersive look at how Apple evolved from a garage startup to a global design powerhouse.

There are hands-on displays. There are creative installations inspired by their most memorable campaigns. They even highlight the designers and engineers behind the brand.

You can get a sneak peek of the images here, or check out a video preview here.

The Dalí Exhibit

As if the Apple anniversary wasn’t enough, they also have a Salvador Dalí exhibit happening right now. It’s called Dalí’s Lab: Surrealism Meets Tech.

Art and technology intersecting. It’s exactly what Mimms Museum was built to do.

Founded by Lonnie and Karin Mimms in 2019 (formerly the Computer Museum of America), this place is a dedicated nonprofit with a serious mission: preserving the history of technology and showcasing its impact on society.
