WHAT IS AN ESCAPE THE ROOM GAME?
Escape room games are basically mystery games!
In a typical escape room experience, you are locked in a room with anywhere from 2 to 15 players. You and your team must then find clues inside the room to help you solve the mystery so you can successfully escape! During your experience, you’ll be solving puzzles, cracking codes, and really testing your skills. In most cases, you have about 60 minutes to escape.
Escape rooms are fun for date nights, hanging out with friends, and testing your skills, and they make for a good team-building exercise too!
What surprised me most was that it wasn’t just one room — but a series of rooms! So just as you think you’ve won, you have more clues to solve.
It’s a great time and not as easy as you may think! For a perfectly creepy escape room in Atlanta, check out our list below.

Even the picture on the website for this one gives me the creeps — I cannot imagine actually being there!
In Clown, the story goes that you and your friends have been trapped in an abandoned circus by Boris — a crazed, serial killer clown. (Of course!)
The good news is that Boris is in a playful mood and he’s giving you a chance to escape — but only if you can succeed at his twisted games.

ESCAPE THE NETHERWORLD (STONE MOUNTAIN)
After purchasing 10 acres of property in Stone Mountain in 2017, the team behind NETHERWORLD Haunted House knew they wanted to expand beyond haunted attractions and into the popular new world of escape rooms. Created for groups of 4 to 8 players, Haunted: Curse of the Night Hag and Sasquatch: Bigfoot’s Revenge are challenging enough for everyone to enjoy with Tiki Island: Attack of the Shark God and Nosferatu: Van Helsing’s Secret upping the complexity just enough to give players an even greater challenge.
Escape the NETHERWORLD is widely renowned for escape rooms that feature both intricate and challenging gameplay in addition to incredibly detailed sets and elaborate twists and turns that completely immerse guests into the game. But fear not, game masters are present to help guide guests and provide clues (if needed) along the way.
