GERMAN CHRISTKINDL MARKET 2024

Buckhead Village District and Galleria on the Park
When: Open Friday, November 22 through Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24, 2024 (Buckhead); and Open Friday, November 29 through Sunday, December 22 (Galleria on the Park)

This year, the German Christkindl Market will take place in two locations. It will return to the Buckhead Village District, but also will be at a new location — Galleria on the Park in Atlanta.

First, enjoy the enchanting return of the annual German Christkindl Market at the Buckhead Village District, a magical experience blending traditional German festivities with the vibrant spirit of Atlanta. In partnership with The German American Cultural Foundation and back for its fourth year, the month-long market will be free and open to the public, featuring a variety of authentic culinary treats, endless selections of curated items to shop, live music, enchanting family-friendly entertainment, and of course, Santa Claus. 

Visitors and holiday-goers will be able to experience the magic with drinks like German Glühwein – also known as mulled wine – hot chocolate, cider and traditional German food including pretzels, schnitzel, brats, and more. To shop, visitors will find items like hand-crafted ornaments, wooden toys, jewelry, clay and hardwood pipes, bath and body items, and much more.

Atlanta’s German Christkindl Market will kick off at Buckhead Village Friday, November 22 through Tuesday, December 24 (open daily). (Closed Thanksgiving.) Hours are 11am-9pm Friday through Sunday, and 3-8pm Monday through Thursday.

You’ll also find the German Christkindl Market at Galleria on the Park on Galleria Parkway in Atlanta. The event will kick off at Galleria on the Park on Friday, November 29 and run through Sunday, December 22. Hours are Noon to 8pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and 3pm to 8pm on Thursdays.

BACK TO NATURE HOLIDAY MARKET

Chattahoochee Nature Center | Roswell
When: Saturday, December 7, 2024, 10am – 5pm

We absolutely adore the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, and we consider it a “Top 10” Atlanta attraction. Each year, they offer a holiday gift to everyone — free admission!

On this special day you can enjoy the CNC, and also visit their Back To Nature Holiday Market. Explore the goods of local artisans who have made unique, handmade, and/or eco-friendly gifts for the holiday season. Art, jewelry, candles, children’s gifts, food, and much more are offered.

Admission is free, but reservations are requested. However, they may be able to accommodate walk-ups on the day of the event.

HOLIDAY CREATOR’S MARKET

Atlantic Station | Atlanta
When: Saturdays and Sundays from November 30 thru December 22, 2024

Join Atlantic Station for the Creator’s Market around Atlantic Green this holiday season. Whether shopping for yourself or finding that perfect gift, the Market will offer a distinct shopping experience featuring more than a dozen vendors. Support local entrepreneurs and shop a variety of hand-crafted products from jewelry and home décor to soaps and candles. There will be tasty treats, talented artists and fun for everyone!

The Creator’s Market is pending favorable weather conditions and vendors will vary from weekend to weekend. The Market will take place from 11am to 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22, 2024.

NIGHT MARKET: HOLIDAY EDITION AT THE HOME DEPOT BACKYARD

Celebrate the holidays and experience a night with under the stars with Atlanta’s best chefs, mixologists, entertainers, and artisans at the Home Depot Backyard during Night Market: Holiday Edition! Enjoy a delicious evening filled with live music, craft cocktails, savory and sweet food offerings while shopping fine goods and crafts with local artisans. Entertainment will be courtesy of saxophonist Trey Daniels.

S’more stations will be onsite, along with great local food and drinks. This is a 21+ event.

ROSWELL CHRISTKINDLMARKET

Bulloch Hall | Roswell
When: Nov. 22 – Dec. 22, 2024

The Roswell Christkindlmarket is back in 2024! This year’s event will run from November 22 to December 22, 2024, on the Historic Bulloch Hall grounds in Roswell, GA.

Inspired by German Christmas markets, the family-friendly event will feature vendors offering a variety of seasonal crafts and food and drinks — including authentic German specialties and Gluhwein — and more. The beautifully decorated grounds span multiple sections, connected through accessible paths, lined with rows of wooden vendor stalls.

You can get your photos with Santa (no reservations necessary, weekends only), or buy your Christmas tree at the event! Admission and ample parking are free, enabling everyone to visit and enjoy. All ages are welcome, and they are dog friendly if on leash!

HOLIDAY MARKET AT SERENBE

Gainey Hall at Serenbe | Chattahoochee Hills
DATES: December 5-7, 2024

Each holiday season, Serenbe celebrates by hosting the Holiday Market. This year, December 5-7, 2024, enjoy a day in the community, where you can find something truly unique for your family, friends and even yourself. They’ll have workshops, seasonal activities, a food truck, warm beverages and more while you shop the Holiday Market’s local artisans and makers during the season of giving.  

The holiday market hours are 5-8pm on Thursday, and 10am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday. The market will be held at Gainey Hall at Serenbe, 10640 Serenbe Lanes, Chattahoochee Hills, GA 30268.

CHIRISTMAS AT CALLANWOLDE

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center | Atlanta
When: November 30 – December 1, December 5 – 7, and December 12 – 15, 2024

Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is again hosting Winter House — a fun and festive event that takes place over 9 days. Visitors of all ages will enjoy touring the 27,000 square-foot historic mansion elaborately decorated with professional holiday displays and themed events. They’re also hosting workshops, activities, and events.

As part of Winter House, an Artist Market will be available all nine days. Admission is free.

THE ELEGANT ELF MARKETPLACE

Sandy Springs Performing Arts & Conference Center | Sandy Springs
When: November 2-3, 2024

The Sandy Springs Society will host their annual “shopping for a cause” fundraiser The Elegant Elf Marketplace, a popular and highly-anticipated, two-day gift market featuring 100 carefully selected local and regional artisans who offer hand-crafted items, exquisite artistic creations and the latest gourmet delights.

This shopping event is an ideal way to kick off the holiday season while supporting small businesses and local nonprofits.

The event is held at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts & Conference Center. There is an $8 entrance fee and kids under 10 are FREE.

INDIE CRAFT EXPERIENCE

NEW Location: Yaarab Temple | Atlanta
When: Saturday November 9th & Sunday November 10th, 2024

For over 18 years, the Indie Craft Experience has been connecting crafters, artists, makers, and vintage vendors with a wonderful Atlanta audience eager to find unique holiday gifts. Grab a special gift for someone on your list, and get a little something for yourself! This is supposed to be their largest event of the year.

This year’s event will be held at Yaarab Temple on Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta. Visitors can take care of their holiday shopping while having fun and supporting super talented vendors.

This two-day event features craft, art & vintage vendors, a great selection of local food vendors, and a tote bag for the first 100 people in line.

MISTLETOE MARKET
