The holiday season means holiday lights displays, one of the best is World of Illumination in Marietta. Here’s everything you need to know about what to expect in 2024.

COSMIC SLEIGHRIDE IN MARIETTA

In Marietta, World of Illumination offers a Cosmic Sleighride theme this year. The event is held in the parking lot of Six Flags White Water on Cobb Parkway in Marietta. In years past, Marietta has seen Enchanted Safari, Candy Rush, Rockin’ Christmas, and Reindeer Road, but this year offers you the chance to experience a mystical holiday adventure that is out of this world!

The 2024 dates are Tuesdays through Sundays, November 15 – December 29, 2024, with some select Mondays thrown in (December 9, 16, and 23).

In this 1-mile long symphony of sight and sound, you’ll shoot past the sun, race among the stars and pass through Kris Kringle’s celestial portal where toys prepare for launch. Orbit around a team of astro-elves hoverboarding through the cosmos as you enter the stratosphere of Santa City, where all the holiday magic happens. Hold on to your seat — you’re in for one stellar ride.

The event operates rain or shine, and takes about 30 minutes to drive through.

Online reservations are required. FYI: Tickets are per car — not per person! (No limos, buses, or RVs.)

Tickets start at $39.99 for November weekdays and go up to $49.99 for weekends and all of December. Tickets are on sale HERE. You can also order extras, like a Sonic Wand Bundle or Lightning Pack during your ticket check-out process.
