Best End Brewing is welcoming back the very first and only pop-up Christmas Bar in the West End of Atlanta, GA. Nestled right off the SW trail of the Beltline in the Flamingo Room at Best End Brewing Company, Founding Partner Cory Burke and Vibe Engineer Suzanne Dieter are excited to celebrate the holidays with the fourth installment of the Mingle & Jingle Christmas Bar. The opening is slated for Friday, November 25th at 4:00 pm and will be open on the following dates & times:
- November 25th – December 31st, Tuesday – Sunday 4pm – normal closing hours (unless the elves want to keep partying).
- With the exception of Sunday, December 25th.
Past patrons know that Mingle & Jingle is THE best local Christmas Bar not only because it is locally run and because Cory and Suzanne sourced many of its decorations from Atlanta stores, such as Last Chance Thrift Store in Decatur, A Better Way Bargains in Peachtree City, and the United Way.
Guests will love the abundance of décor, miles of sparkling tinsel garland and Christmas lights, and the experience of hugging a giant inflatable teddy bear (he hugs back!). And don’t forget to pose for Instagram-worthy photos in front of the famous giant bow wall!
The Christmas cocktail menu is peppered with delightfully named drinks like the School of Hard Nog, Santa Sleigh Bomb, and the ever-popular Is Your House on Fire, Clark? Add in the tempting food menu offerings, and you’ll find everything you need to make the holidays a little less stressful.
CHURCH STREET VACATION AT THE THIRD DOOR

The Third Door in Marietta Square will transform for the third year in a row into the Church Street Vacation in December, a holiday pop-up that’s themed after National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
At this pop-up, you’ll find cocktails like the “I Don’t Know Margo!” (a vodka gimlet made with candy cane cordial), the “Where’s the Tylenol” (a baking spice infused Old Fashioned), and the “Little Full, Lotta Sap” (a hot toddy featuring blended scotch, lemon, honey and pine).
The Third Door is all decked out in holiday decor to make the experience super merry. You may even see Cousin Eddie while you’re there!

‘Tis the season for celebrating, and 5Church Midtown kicks off the festivities with the launch of its Rooftop Holiday Bar at Virtue Rooftop on Friday, Nov. 25.
Jolly guests will jingle the night away with a selection of holiday-themed cocktails, a menu of light bites from culinary director Rodney Smith Jr., a playlist of holiday tunes and festive décor, and twinkly lights. Drinks from Virtue Rooftop’s full cocktail menu also will be available.
The Rooftop Holiday Bar will be open Thursday-Saturday evenings from 5-11 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis for those 21 years old and over with no cover charge. Guests are encouraged to check 5Church Midtown’s social media feeds (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) or call in advance for nightly schedules.
CHRISTMAS BARS ATLANTA: THE BLIND ELF

Experience holiday magic at The Blind Elf in Buckhead this holiday season! The Blind Pig Parlour Bar will reopen as The Blind Elf to spread cheer throughout the holiday season! Guests can expect a festive, holiday-themed bar adorned with twinkling lights and holiday decor.
Guests enter a festive wonderland of over-the-top décor and twinkling lights to discover a variety of warm and chilly holiday-themed drinks, candy cane shots, beer, wine, and bubbles to ensure a spirited mood. Highlights of the Instagram-worthy drink menu include:
- Sugar Plum Fairy – gin, lemon juice, Chandon, and pink fairy dust
- Rudolph’s So Bitter – Campari, Antica, vodka, raspberry cordial, and lime juice
- Feliz Navidad – mezcal, brown sugar molasses, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest
- Nog-Gonna Make It to Work Tomorrow – eggnog, toasted almond orgeat, and Black Barrel rum
- Cran’ma Got Run Over by a Reindeer – rye, lemon juice, rosemary-cranberry syrup
- Ski Lift – scotch, malted hot cocoa, and flaming mini marshmallows
Inspired by 1970s dinner party classics, The Blind Elf’s food menu is as festive as the cocktails. Guests will enjoy cheese fondue served with garlic focaccia, green apples, and broccoli along with a selection of savory and sweet bites that pair perfectly with the drinks. Among these are:
- Reindeer chips and dip with house-made French onion dip with chips and veggies
- Beer-battered mushrooms with herb-horseradish cream
- Pigs in a Blanket with sweet Buffalo mustard
- Brie bruschetta with Granny Smith apple and walnut jam
- Maple-glazed bacon-wrapped dates
- Sweets such as peppermint bark brownie and butterscotch-peanut butter haystack
The Blind Elf Experience ($54 plus gratuity and tax) features two cocktails and two food items per person.
The Blind Elf is open at 5 p.m. Wednesdays-Sundays through Thursday, Nov. 24, and seven days a week starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25-Friday, Dec. 30. In addition, family-friendly reservations are available on Sundays from 2-4 p.m.
Reservations open up 30 days in advance and are strongly recommended. Walk-ins are welcome based on limited availability.

“ROCKIN’ AROUND THE URBANTREE” AT URBANTREE CIDERY

UrbanTree Cidery has just announced that they will be transforming their tasting room into a winter wonderland for the 2022 holiday season.
Their Christmas bar, playfully named “Rockin’ Around the UrbanTree,” will host its grand opening on November 23rd from 5PM-12AM, where there will be a number of fun activities like karaoke, Christmas-themed cocktails, photo-ops with the over-the-top holiday decor, music, games, and so much more.
The specialty holiday menu will include two hot cocktails, four cold cocktails and a festive shooter. Each cocktail is priced at $14, and the shooter is priced at $7.
The fun will continue for the remainder of the holiday season and close Sunday January 8th, 2023. Guests can enjoy Rockin’ Around the UrbanTree during the cidery’s normal business hours: Thursday & Friday from 4-10PM, and Saturday & Sunday from 12:30-6:30PM. They will be closed on December 2nd, 24th, 25th and January 1st.
The tasting room is always child and dog-friendly– so bring the whole family! No reservations or ticket purchases are required to attend.
TINSEL TAVERN AT THE BATTERY

Throughout the season, Tinsel Tavern will host festive themed nights – think Dancing Elves Silent Disco and an Ugly Sweater Party – and Family Day every Sunday from 4-7pm, where kids can visit Santa, enjoy coloring stations and more. WONDERBIRD SPIRITS POPS UP AT AZIZA

Aziza is teaming up with Wonderbird Spirits to offer a holiday pop-up for one night only! On Thursday, December 15, Wonderbird Spirits will partner with Aziza for a Holiday Patio Party.
Aziza’s Bar Manager, David Chapman and Beverage Director of Oliva Restaurant Group, Demario Wallace, as well as Wonderbird’s mixologist, Ivy McLellan who will be behind the bar for the evening, have worked together to craft a specialty cocktail menu featuring the beloved Mississippi gin.
The southern gin paired with Aziza’s modern Israeli cuisine will curate an experience unlike any other, creating an evening that will bring holiday cheer to all featuring a Christmas-themed menu showcasing all of the holiday spices. Truck and Tap Duluth will be doing a National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation themed Christmas Bar.
In addition to the fun, holiday-themed bar, Downtown Duluth will be having their annual Christmas Lighting and “Deck the Halls” event, and Truck and Tap will be having an ugly sweater party contest with prizes for the winner and runner up.
CHRISTMAS BARS ATLANTA: MIRACLE ON MONROE

Miracle on Monroe, like years prior, will set up shop at Midtown’s Tapa Tapa and is the classic stop for a jolly good time. The original Atlanta Miracle will run until Dec. 26 (closed on Christmas Day) – open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until midnight.
Miracle on Monroe does not take reservations and seats guests on a first come, first serve basis. Guests must be 21+ to visit. Miracle on Monroe will be providing live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights ranging from Live DJs to holiday drag shows – cover fees will be charged on these nights.
MOUNTAIN LODGE POP-UP AT HAMPTON + HUDSON

This holiday season, Hampton + Hudson, the community bar and restaurant in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood, will host a Mountain Lodge Pop-up to celebrate the most joyful and cozy time of year. The pop-up will be open 6-11 p.m. nightly, and walk-ins are welcome.
Centered around creative cocktails, the pop-up will be located on the restaurant’s mezzanine level and welcome guests to step into the comforting and cozy lodge atmosphere.
Servers will don checkered flannel and merrily serve holiday cocktails like classic Tom & Jerry’s, Tequila Eggnog and Hot Buttered Cider with duck fat caramel. Guests can also get the party going with Rumplemintz and Fernet Menta Shotskis served up on sets of wooden skis. To pair, guests can order fun snacks like tableside s’mores, a limited edition Apple Cider Doughnut from Sublime Doughnuts, classic poutine and a croque madame.

While not a pop up, it’s still worth sharing the Loews Atlanta Getaway in a Glass flavors for those who prefer to sip under the colorful lights of their own tree. Here’s your make-at-home Midtown Gin + Tonic recipe so you can create their iconic drink for your family.
- 1.5oz Hendrick’s Gin
- Top with Q Bottled Tonic
- Serve in snifter over crushed ice
Garnish – Rose petals, juniper berries, cucumber ribbons (or thin slices). Fill a snifter with crushed ice. Pour gin into glass. Top with tonic. Place garnish inside and on top of the cocktail to your liking using cocktail tweezers.
