TREES ATLANTA KENDEDA CENTER

This beloved Atlanta nonprofit’s Reynoldstown office boasts a multi-purpose, customizable space, the focal point of which is a beautiful tree sculpture. The space is well-suited for corporate meetings, staff retreats, team-building programs, fundraising events.

You’ll also have access to the smaller Greenroof, which boasts some pretty enviable views of the Downtown skyline. Access to outdoor patios and natural spaces offers quiet moments for attendees to take a break or to walk on gravel trails on the property. The facility connects to the Atlanta BeltLine Westside Trail at the Allene Avenue access point and is within easy walking distance of local restaurants and businesses.

DR. BOMBAY’S UNDERWATER TEA PARTY

Nestled in the retail trip in the Candler Park neighborhood, Dr. Bombay’s is a tea shop infused with color, whimsy, and shelves lovingly crammed with books. Host your book club, shower, or girls’ meetup here over their High Tea service – the sweet and savory array of snacks are to die for. Worried about being around too many people? No worries! LE MAISON ROUGE

For a private event, Le Maison Rouge, now located in the historic and newly emerging Atlanta Underground, offers a stunning location to exchange wedding vows, take incredible videos or photos, and celebrate significant moments. OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY

MICHAEL C. CARLOS MUSEUM

Ackerman Hall at the Carlos Museum (located on Emory University’s campus) can accommodate up to 200 people standing, and all facility rentals have the option of adding on the galleries. With an impressive collection of artifacts dating back to antiquity–yes, including mummies–this is a hard amenity to refuse. Plus floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on the Emory Quadrangle and chandelier lighting provide the perfect place for your event.

CHATTAHOOCHEE NATURE CENTER

A nonprofit dedicated to environmental education along the banks of Georgia’s signature river, the Chattahoochee Nature Center also doubles as an event venue. Check out Kingfisher Hall for an indoor group gathering, the Heron Pond Picnic Pavilion for outdoor fun, or the Green Roof for an intimate cocktail reception or shower, among other options. HISTORIC ROOTS

THE MARGARET MITCHELL HOUSE

On the corner of Peachtree and 10th Streets, the Margaret Mitchell House is the Midtown Atlanta extension of Buckhead’s Atlanta History Center–and more importantly, it’s where Gone With the Wind was penned. Between the neatly trimmed lawn, rocking chair-adorned porch, and versatile indoor space, this house museum offers a variety of event options and is a cozy enclave in the city’s bustling heart.

THE WREN’S NEST

A house museum that preserves and interprets the history of Joel Chandler Harris (who penned and published the Uncle Remus oral folktales) and Atlanta during the 19th century, the backyard and front porch (the house interior is off-limits) of the Wren’s Nest are perfect for casual affairs. Tack on a house tour and storyteller performance for a complete experience at this historic venue.

GEORGIA FREIGHT DEPOT

Most suitable for large, social events, the Georgia Freight Depot is one of the oldest buildings in Downtown Atlanta (built in 1869) and will take your guests back to Atlanta’s Terminus roots–you’re just yards away from the Zero Milepost. The space is over 12,000 square feet of open space. The event site can accommodate up to 1,300 guests or be tailored for smaller, more intimate gatherings.

RHODES HALL

Known as the “castle on Peachtree,” Rhodes Hall is a house museum and an award-winning venue, best known for weddings. It’s also ideal, however, for parties, dinners and beyond, and don’t let the word “castle” throw you off – for seated dinners the max capacity is 100 guests, keeping this historic gem appropriate for more intimate gatherings.

THE TROLLEY BARN

Built in 1889 to house the city’s Downtown-Inman Park streetcar, The Trolley Barn fell into disrepair in the 20th century but was resuscitated and scrupulously preserved. Now managed by a nonprofit as a private event venue, guests will appreciate the building’s historic integrity, in addition to the patio garden and the charm of surrounding Inman Park.

HAZLEHURST HOUSE

Located southwest of Atlanta in McDonough, Hazlehurst House has maintained a reputation as an epicenter of social activity since the early 1800s. Today, it remains a popular and quintessentially Southern wedding and event venue, carefully restored and historically rich.

OLD FOURTH DISTILLERY

Located in the historic Old Fourth Ward, Old Fourth Distillery is full of Atlanta’s heart. The tasting room is ideal for an intimate gathering—of up to 60 people. ATLANTA BREWING COMPANY

HAVANA CLUB

Oozing sultry luxury, Havana Club has been a Buckhead mainstay since 1996. The Club includes the Main Room, Latin Studio, and The Gallery, each playing different genres of music, and where full bars and cigar bars await.

This gorgeous restaurant rests along the railroad tracks in Downtown Decatur. Their private event space, Bonanza!, seats anywhere from 10 to 24 guests. Amenities include decor, customizable menus, private entry, and bathrooms, and is open to all dinner guests on Friday and Saturday if events aren’t scheduled (a good opportunity for a preview of the space).

MILTON’S CUISINE & COCKTAILS

This restored 150-year-old farmhouse lies north of the city in Historic Crabapple. Your guests will love the secluded lawn, garden, and private rooms. And forget “farm to table” – Milton’s prides itself on “seed to fork,” marrying New South dining with Old South charm.

Located in the King Plow Arts District west of Downtown Atlanta, Puritan Mill was once the Atlanta headquarters of Puritan Chemical Company, where soaps and cleaning products were manufactured. Now, it’s a sweeping and stunning mixed-use event facility best suited for large events–up to 1200 guests with its 12,000 square foot of space!

KING PLOW ARTS CENTER

Once a plow factory, now a mixed-used redevelopment and hub of arts and culture, King Plow’s event gallery is managed by Bold Catering & Design, housed in the center. Also on campus is music venue Terminal West, another industrial-chic, full-service event space option.

WOODRUFF ARTS CENTER

On a campus that encompasses the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Alliance Theatre, and the High Museum of Arts, the Woodruff Arts Center is positively brimming with event space options. As the cultural heart of Atlanta, this is an ideal venue option for an art-infused occasion surrounded by an art gallery.

CITY SPRINGS

City Springs in Sandy Springs is a gorgeous new space with plenty of meeting places for every occasion. From the Byers and Studio Theatres to the City Green outdoor space.
