Glamping, or glamorous camping, is for those who love being outside in nature, but also love indoor plumbing and comfy beds!
There are some amazing glamping resorts out there, and you can find everything from tiny houses and vintage trailers to decked out luxury treehouses and safari-style tents.
USA Today has released nine of their favorite glamping resorts across the United States — and one is located just a short drive from Atlanta.

Bolt Farm Treehouse (Whitewell, TN)
Bolt Farm Treehouse made the USA Today list of best glamping sites in the U.S.!
Located just 2.5 hours from Atlanta, just over the border near Chattanooga, TN, Bolt Farm Treehouse in Whitewell, TN has more to offer than just a treehouse.
At Bolt Farm Treehouse, you can choose one of their amazing treehouses that are perched on a cliff offering amazing views you can’t get anywhere else! Their Honeymoon Treehouses offer luxury on the inside, and so much fun outside — including hot tubs, outdoor showers with heated floors, and more.
They offer two adults-only treehouses currently — their Original Honeymoon Treehouse and their New Honeymoon Treehouse. You can’t go wrong with either one!
In addition to treehouses, Bolt Farm Treehouse also has Mirror Cabins in the woods that come with mirrored exteriors that reflect the natural surroundings (so cool!), and Domes that offer panoramic mountaintop views.
Some of the awesome experiences they offer here include a Private Chef Experience, In-Room Massages, Guided Hikes, and Mountaintop Yoga.
