Fly Lords, the leading fly fishing multimedia company, dropped their third episode of their Fly Shop Tour — and it’s all about some awesome local shops around our great state.

During their most recent episode, FishHawk (Atlanta, GA), Alpharetta Outfitters (Alpharetta, GA), and Unicoi Outfitters (Helen, GA), as well as local non-profit the Crayfish Creek Restoration Project, were highlighted.

Each episode of the Fly Shop Tour is a celebration of the unique spirit and passion found within local fly fishing communities. These stories are told through breathtaking cinematography, insightful interviews with shop owners and guides, and a firsthand look at the work of local non-profits.

In its second season, the Fly Lords Fly Shop Tour covered over 2,000 miles and stopped at 14 local shops across the southeast — including here in Georgia. In October, they rallied the GA troops at the Fish Hawk, raising some of the first funds for Phase 2 of the Crayfish Creek Restoration Project.

I haven’t even ever been fly fishing, and this episode was so fun for me to watch! It was great to watch Georgia’s beauty and local offerings being highlighted.
