New Study Names Best Street Art Hot Spots in the U.S.

Street art has cropped up all over America — brightening up our daily commutes and providing that perfect Instagram backdrop.

Now, a new study has determined which U.S. cities are the best street art hot spots…and Atlanta has made the list!

Betway analyzed cities across America, looking at a variety of metrics such as the number of murals and social media data to reveal which city is the most popular for street art.

You may already know that Atlanta has plenty of amazing street art to see — especially along the BeltLine — but there are a few other cities that are well-known for their art too. Here’s Betway’s list of the best cities for street art around America.

Key findings from the study include: 

• Atlanta ranks among the best street art hotspots around the U.S. with 214 street art murals and 31,848 posts on Instagram.

• Los Angeles is the best city in America for street art with 2,272 murals, the most out of all the cities in the ranking, and 222,486 Instagram posts.

• Paris is crowned the number one city in the world for street art, with 1,903 murals, the most article engagement over the past five years (471,127) and an average annual search volume of 97,200.
