New Glamping Location Coming to Lake Allatoona

There are some new glamping tents in town!

Timberline Glamping Co. is opening a new Georgia location and it’s so close to Atlanta, you won’t have to go too far to glamp! (Only 45 minutes!)

Located within Pine Acres Retreat in Acworth, Timberline Allatoona will feature 6 beautiful glamping tents on Lake Allatoona. The new location is set to open April 6.

Glamping is a great way to get out into nature — without having to deal with sleeping on the ground in a hot tent!

At their new location, you’ll find 3 Deluxe Safari Tents and 3 Double Safari Tents. No matter which one you pick, you’ll find everything you need that makes glamping so fun.

The Deluxe Safari Tents have a King-sized bed and 2 sets of bunk beds, so you can sleep 6. This one is perfect for large families or a group of friends. The Double Safari Tents sleep 4 and feature 2 Queen-sized beds.

Both Safari Tents come with a Keurig Coffee maker, mini-fridge, electrical outlets to charge your devices, and AC and heating units. You’ll also find 2 hammocks, a fire pit, a charcoal grill, string lights, 2 camping chairs, and a picnic table outside of each tent…making it easy to spend time outdoors.

The inside of the tents are immaculately decorated with rugs, soft linens, lamps, and more.

The new tents are located in Pine Acres Retreat, which boasts 216 acres directly on Lake Allatoona. You’ll find swimming access, picnic shelters, a swim dock, and hiking trails here.

Timberline Allatoona will be the company’s 9th Georgia locale. You’ll also find Timberline Glamping Tents at Amicalola Falls, Clarks Hill Lake (Augusta), Kingston Downs (Rome), Lake Blackshear (Cordele), Lake Lanier – River Forks, Lake Lanier – Shady Grove, Lula (near Gainesville), and at Unicoi State Park near Helen.
