Some great new dining options are on their way to Jekyll Island this summer!
Westin Jekyll Island on Georgia’s Golden Isles is in the process of a complete reinvention, and with that comes some great new restaurants.
Under new ownership, Westin Jekyll Island is planning a completely new food and beverage program that is sure to add some excitement to Jekyll Island’s culinary scene. In partnership with Chef Lindsay Autry, who is a 3-time James Beard nominee for Best Chef: South, the Westin Jekyll Island will be unveiling three new restaurant concepts this year.
- Willet’s Lowcountry is the main restaurant concept and will serve up coastal Southern cuisine inspired by the seasons, as well as regionally-sourced ingredients.
- Pour Tabby is the new bar and lounge.
- Salty’s is a poolside grill, which will also provide full service on the beach.
Chef Autry will lean into the abundance of local seafood on Jekyll Island – and her background of Southern cooking with Mediterranean influence – to create menus that are rooted in place, light, and refreshing. With this fresh menu, as well as complete renovations of all the dining spaces, the Westin team hopes to reinstall the restaurants as fixtures for both visitors and locals alike.
The restaurants will be open to everyone, and are officially launching in early July 2024.
