We have many happy memories of visiting The Gas Arena (formerly known as the Gwinnett Civic Center, the Arena at Gwinnett Center and the Infinite Energy Arena) The arena is home to Georgia Swarm lacrosse and Atlanta Vibe volleyball.
But I’m personally more familiar with the great bands that visit the arena each year. I’ve seen Green Day, Foo Fighters, and Weezer there to name a few. So many great memories.
But let’s face it – this area of Gwinnett county can be a little difficult to get to depending on what part of the metro you’re coming from. It can make for a long drive home.
It sure would have been a treat to stay at a nearby fancy hotel after those late night shows. Walking distance – even better.
Well, there’s a new hotel in town and it looks like the perfect place for a little concert getaway with your squeeze.

There’s so much to see eat and do in the Gas South District, there’s no reason to go anywhere else.
