A New North Georgia Glamping Adventure Just Opened

Suches Adventures, started by a couple who, after 25 years in corporate leadership roles, purchased 16 acres of of peaceful property in Suches, Georgia with a dream to build a glamping property amongst the Chattahoochee National Forest.

And as of April of this year, it is finally open!

The location is off Hwy 60, about mid-way between Blue Ridge and Dahlonega. Additionally Vogel and Blairsville are about 30 minutes north, which makes this location ideal for exploring all the best parts of the GA mountains.

Not to mention, the property is located along the Toccoa River, making it ideal for fishing, tubing, kayaking, and canoeing.

Lodging Options

There are currently five glamping tents for up to 4 people, and one for up to 6 people. The larger one includes a full-size bed plus bunk bed cots.

All the tents include 2 side tables with lamps that have USB charging ports, an end of bed bench, a luggage rack, heaters for the winter or fans for the summer, all powered by portable battery units.

The tents are heavy canvas, and 14′ x 16′ feet large with an extended rainfly to provide a covered deck with Adirondack chairs. Outside the raised tent area are a fire pit area & charcoal grill.

Not available yet, but coming soon, they will also offer tent camping sports. The four heavily-wooded primitive sites will have a cleared area for tents/hammocks, outdoor seating, a firepit, plus access to the bathhouse.

Onsite you’ll also find a bath house with 3 unisex toilet rooms, 2 unisex shower rooms, and 2 full bathrooms (toilets and showers).

There’s also a rental center for extra cots and camping supplies, plus an on-site store with firewood, charcoal, coffee, snacks and more.

Kids are welcome, dogs are welcome, and WiFi and parking are free.

If you’re interested in some serious fishing, the property also partners with Capt Eric Crowley with Lake and Stream Guide Service for lake fishing charters.
