We have this great post about volunteer projects for adults and families around Atlanta, but it really only gets traffic around Thanksgiving and Christmas.
When I call every year to get more information from these organizations and update the post, I always get the same plea from the staff… Please encourage people to come help us out the other months of the year, too!
One location told me that January and February are the hardest months to get volunteers.

It’s easy to sort though opportunities that are close to home, based on activities you love, or filter for the age of your kiddos if they are coming to assist.
Find your place helping at the food pantry, at an after-school program, tutoring, forest restoration… and so much more!
