Atlanta, known for its rich history, delicious food, and electric nightlife, has been named one of the top cities in the US for a girls’ weekend in a recent study.
JackpotCity Casino has analyzed cities around the US based on factors like the number of restaurants and bars, cocktail prices, hotel fees, and safety to reveal the best locations for a girls’ weekend.
- Atlanta comes in second place and offers more bars (49 per 10k people) and restaurants (154 per 10k people) than any other city on the list, making it the perfect place for foodies
- The South Carolina city of Charleston has been named the top destination for a girls’ weekend, with taxi fares averaging $20 and the average cocktail costing $15
- New York City ranks as the worst city in the US for a girls’ weekend, with hotel costs averaging $350 per night and a single cocktail setting you back $21 on average. Los Angeles ranks as the second-worst city with similarly high prices, followed by Phoenix.
- Jackson, Mississippi is the cheapest city for a girls’ weekend. Cocktails cost just $8 on average, which is the cheapest on the list. Prices are also relatively low for taxi fares ($10 per person) and hotel rooms ($36 per person for one night). It’s also the is the least safe city with a score of just 10.55 out of 100
- Boise ranks as the safest city of all, scoring 64.89 out of 100 for safety when walking alone at night. This is followed by Virginia Beach (62.57) and Salt Lake City (62.13).
