Georgia’s Most Luxurious Resort Opens the Infinity Pool and Cliff-Edge Bar & Grill

Cloudland at McLemore Resort – the jaw-dropping resort perched atop Lookout Mountain, Georgia – celebrated its official grand opening on May 2 with the completion of its fine dining restaurant, Auld Alliance, and the resort’s infinity pool and hot tub.

Located 30 miles from Chattanooga and less than two hours from the Atlanta metro area, Cloudland is the Southeast’s most anticipated hotel opening. The property offers 245 guest rooms, including 19 suites and 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art indoor meeting and event space.

Led by award-winning Executive Chef Dustin Willet and Chef de Cuisine, Marc Rodriguez, Auld Alliance presents a culinary journey like no other, bridging Scottish and French cultures and cuisines. Built in 1295, the Auld Alliance is known as a historic pact between the kingdoms of Scotland and France. Today, this is celebrated as Cloudland’s signature dining offering.

It’s one of the first French-Scottish restaurants in the United States, and encompasses over 100 years of combined experience that translates directly through the exquisite menu, one-of-a-kind service, and innovative atmosphere.

The infinity edge pool and hot tub are sure to impress – allowing you to feel as if you are floating among the clouds. Located steps from Cloudland’s world class spa, Selah, the infinity pool is the perfect place to unwind and gaze at the awe-inspiring mountainous scenery. The pool is open to overnight guests and those who have booked a treatment at Selah.

Situated high above the clouds, Skyside officially opened May 24 as a stylish poolside oasis that offers guests a relaxed, cliff-side experience. With grand panoramic views overlooking mountain scenery, this open-air lounge serves an array of handcrafted cocktails, beverages, and bar bites including snacks, salads, bowls, handhelds and more. Skyside is open daily from 11a.m. to dusk. This exquisite fare is known as the perfect retreat surrounded with captivating sunsets and revitalized nature.

In addition to the cliff-edge infinity pool, sky bar and diverse dining options, guests can enjoy a range of amenities at Cloudland and access to two exceptional golf courses (McLemore’s Highlands Course and The Cairn short course), a full-service spa, and endless opportunities to explore Lookout Mountain and surrounding areas.
