If you’re anything like me, you hate the security line at the airport, especially the one at Hartsfield-Jackson! Yeah, you could pay for a premium screening subscription…. but I’ve got a better tip for you. And it’s FREE.
It’s called the ATL Virtual Queue parking program.
Here’s the bottom line: You park at the airport, and they reward you with entry into an expedited security line at no extra charge.
After you park your car, board the shuttle to the airport. On the shuttle is a QR code that you will scan in order to make a reservation for security.
About 10 min before your appointment, head over to the Reservation Desk and a staff member will walk you thru!

Here are some important details you need to know.
- The program is brand new and they are still working out the kinks, so be patient! We want this to work!!
- This is only if you park at ParkATL Select or Airport Park Ride
- This is only for domestic flights
- Set your security reservation 2-5 hours before your departure time
- Be sure you’ve checked luggage and have your boarding pass in hand before you visit the reservation desk
