A century-old favorite. In 2022 they’re celebrating their 100th anniversary! A recent visit to the historic mountain inn, located on a 35-acre lake surrounded by 1,400 acres of natural beauty and stunning mountain views, was a perfect escape, close to Atlanta, to try out my soon-to-be reality.
My favorite kind of day? Jumping in the car with my kids and seeking out one of Georgia’s new (to us) waterfalls. We love the easy ones, the hidden ones….the roadside spills and the falls flowing deep within the forest.
