Louisville, KY is known for the Kentucky Derby and delicious whiskey… and just to the east is gorgeous Shelby County, a gem in the shadow of the well-known town. Shelby County is known for equestrian history, numerous horse farms, and the 300-acre home of Bulleit Bourbon.

But Bulleit isn’t the only bourbon in the neighborhood.

Jeptha Creed Distillery, the first distillery in Shelby County since Prohibition ended, is run by a dynamic mother-daughter team, Joyce and Autumn Nethery, and their extended family.

You can also enjoy the distillery tour with a sample of spirits, or just enjoy the free spirit tasting.
