Monterey Bay has over 200 exhibits, as well as a jaw-dropping 80,000 plants and animals. Plus live webcams, where guests can see marine life from anywhere in the world.

AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC
This is Southern California’s largest aquarium. Because they are right on the water, the aquarium also offers wildlife viewing excursions.
MYSTIC AQUARIUM
In addition to the thousands of species of marine life they care for, Mystic also has the largest outdoor beluga whale exhibit in the country.
THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM
Originally based in Clearwater Beach, this aquarium is home to thousands of land and aquatic animals, created to show the public why the oceans should be protected.
GA Aquarium is the only aquarium in the US with a manta ray exhibit, but they’re known for their whale sharks. One of our all-time favorite life experiences is swimming here with the Gentle Giants.

Don’t miss the pre-opening tours that give visitors a chance to explore the space before it opens to the public, or weekend-based sleepovers which give a glimpse at the aquarium at night.
With two levels of sea creatures to watch, there is a lot to see here. Don’t miss the Ray Bay or penguin shows. Better yet, help one of the African penguins make a work of art you can take home.

Behind the scenes tours are offered most days so guests can learn what it’s like to care for over 15,000 animals every day. There are also jellyfish touch encounters and an octopus encounter.
