Dogwood Trees, Fancy Tea, and Truffle Hollandaise: Spring at the Waldorf Is Extra

If you’ve ever wished your brunch came with champagne, garden views, and a caviar upgrade, the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead just read your mind. They’re going full bloom this spring—literally—with a lineup of dogwood-inspired events that’ll make your group text blow up with heart emojis and brunch pics.

Let’s start with tea. Not the gossip kind, the dainty, “I’m wearing linen today” kind. Every Saturday and Sunday in April and May, the Waldorf is serving up its In Full Bloom Afternoon Tea.

THE WALDORF ASTORIA ATLANTA BUCKHEAD

Imagine sipping jasmine tea while perched next to an English garden that looks like something out of a Nancy Meyers movie. The food? Tiny, perfect things like Butternut Squash Egg Salad Sandwiches and Lemon Strawberry Panna Cotta that you’ll pretend are too pretty to eat… for like two seconds.

And for the overachievers who want to take it up a notch—yes, there’s champagne. Yes, there’s a Royal Caviar Experience. Yes, they will absolutely let you Instagram it. ($115++ per person, in case you’re mentally budgeting.)

They’ve even got a new cocktail inspired by the dogwood trees that are currently stealing the show in the hotel’s garden. You can sip it at Peacock Alley or Brassica’s bar, because why should the petals have all the fun?

Easter plans? Handled. There’s an actual Easter egg hunt in the garden (at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) for the kids, while grown-ups sip mimosas and work their way through a three-course prix fixe at Brassica. Expect things like Truffle Eggs Benedict and Peach-Glazed Chicken & Waffles. Also: Lemon Lavender Panna Cotta. ($86++ per person, and yes, there’s a kid-friendly version.)

Mother’s Day is getting the royal treatment too. Think Poached Shrimp Peach Gazpacho, jumbo lump crab, Red Velvet Waffles with peach syrup (don’t fight your mom for the last bite), and a Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse to seal the deal. Brunch runs $98++ and includes the same garden-and-tea vibes, or you could do Afternoon Tea instead. There’s even a special Mother’s Day dinner for those who like to keep things low-key but still fancy.

Reservations are already filling up, so probably don’t wing this one. You can grab your spot for the tea via Waldorf’s OpenTable and book brunch or dinner through Brassica’s.

Bring your mom. Bring your bestie. Bring yourself in stretchy pants and pretend they’re chic.
