‘Tis the season! And the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead has plenty of great ways to celebrate!
The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is offering a variety of holiday celebrations and dining experiences to get you in the spirit of the holidays. You’ll find everything from a Harvest Afternoon Tea Service to Visits with Santa and Christmas Dinner.
Here’s what you can expect at the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead during this festive season.
Fall Harvest Afternoon Tea
Inspired by the rich flavors of the fall season, the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead will present a festive Fall Harvest Tea service throughout the month of November.
You’ll find items like Roasted Carrot and Sweet Potato Chicken Salad sandwiches served alongside pastries like Pecan Cupcakes, Pumpkin Cream and White Chocolate-filled Verrien, and Caramel and Butterscotch Blondies.
The tea experience can be booked through The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta OpenTable each Saturday and Sunday between November 2 and 24, 2024. Younger guests are also welcome to partake in the afternoon tea service tradition with a children’s menu available upon request.
Thanksgiving Day Dining
On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, the hotel will present a lavish buffet menu combining the abundance and nostalgia of the holiday feast.
Guests will begin their meal with a Brulée Goat Cheese and Spiced Plum Sable Amuse Bouche before enjoying a raw and chilled seafood display featuring Kaluga caviar.
Chef-attended carving stations will present classic Roast Turkey and Rosemary Mustard Crusted Tomahawk Roast accompanied by Lobster Mac & Cheese, Buttermilk & Confit Garlic Whipped Yukon Gold Potatoes and Chicken Apple Sausage & Chestnut Cornbread Stuffing.
The meal will offer guests a grand finale to end their holiday on a sweet note with a Dessert Display brimming with Assorted Petit Fours, Pumpkin Spice Mousse Tart, Carrot Cake and Cinnamon Open Face Macarons.
Reservations are required and can be made through The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta OpenTable. A children’s menu will also be available upon request for junior guests under 12 years old. Cocktails, wine and nonalcoholic beverages will also be available to order a la carte.
Holiday Tea Services
The Waldorf Astoria is thrilled to present two variations of its signature Winter Wonderland Afternoon Tea this December, with opportunities for guests and families seeking holiday cheer with visits from Santa or for spending leisurely sophisticated afternoons.
The Santa’s Winter Wonderland Tea is a magical children’s tea experience ideal for families looking to create lasting holiday memories, complete with a special visit from St. Nick himself. Beginning at 11 am, guests of all ages will enjoy a menu of miniature delights such as Turkey and Cranberry Pinwheels, Snowman Cupcakes, Rudolph Brownie Bites, and chef-led cookie decorating station. Families are welcome to capture photos with Santa from 12 pm to 2 pm on their personal devices to remember the special afternoon, and children are encouraged to drop their Christmas wish lists in the hotel’s North Pole Express Mailbox.
The hotel’s signature Winter Wonderland Tea service offers a refined take on afternoon holiday merriment with spirited décor and live entertainment, available for guests on Saturdays and Sundays throughout December. The curated tea menu of elegant indulgences will feature Cranberry Maple Orange Scones, Smoked Salmon Tartare, Truffle Chicken Salad and sumptuous sweets like Eggnog Crème Brûlée, Open Face Peppermint Macarons and more. Guests may also upgrade their experience with the Royal Caviar Experience for a luxurious afternoon experience like no other.
The Winter Wonderland Tea service will be available throughout weekends in December, beginning on the 7th. The children’s Santa Winter Wonderland Tea will be exclusively offered on Saturday mornings in December. Guests can view all available seating times and make reservations through The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta’s OpenTable.

Christmas Dining
Chef Bermyson and his culinary team will offer guests an indulgent five-course dinner tasting menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, beginning with Truffle Potato Pavé and Sturgeon Caviar and Velvety Main Lobster Bisque, followed by Duck Roulade and a main course Land and Sea Duo, featuring Wagyu A5 Ribeye & Smoked Swordfish.
To cap off the evening, a heavenly take on the classic French patisserie staple, the Chestnut and Chocolate Bûche de Noël will be served for dessert.
For afternoon seating opportunities on Christmas Day, a three-course menu will also be available with highlights echoing the dinner menu’s opulence. Vegetarian options are available upon request and guests are invited to share dietary preferences when making reservations through The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta’s OpenTable.
