Vintage Christmas Toy Exhibit Opens at Marietta History Center

Get ready to see vintage toys and celebrate the holidays with a fun new exhibit on display at the Marietta History Center this holiday season.

Step into a world of wonder as the Marietta History Center proudly presents the Vintage Toys & Modern Cheer Exhibit. The exhibit is showing now through January 4, 2025.

The exhibit features a delightful array of toys that celebrate the spirit of Christmas, bringing joy to children and nostalgia to adults. Visitors of all ages will be transported back to their childhoods as they explore a carefully curated collection of classic toys and modern favorites. From vintage dolls to cultural icons, this exhibit promises to spark imagination and inspire play.

Some of the exhibit’s highlights include…

• Historical Toy Display: Discover toys that have shaped childhoods through the decades.

• Classic Commercials: Memories abound as you watch classic commercials for vintage toys in the Museum Theater.

• Meet Santa: As the official home to Santa on the Square, the museum is always on the nice list! (Reservations to see Santa are required and can be made HERE.)

• Pop-In for Family Fun Day: On December 21, participate in the Museum’s monthly event with free exhibit admission, family-friendly Winter Celebrations crafts, and community organizations’ booths.

The Vintage Toys & Modern Cheer Exhibit is a celebration of joy, imagination, and the timeless magic of play. Tickets to the museum are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors (60+).
