Ruby Falls is putting on special, romantic after-hours themed, guided tour of the iconic cave, lit only by hand-held lanterns. Dubbed Romance at Ruby Valentine Date Night, the tours takes place on select dates in February, so you don’t have to necessarily make this your Valentine’s Day activity. You can go ahead and expand your Valentine’s day schedule beyond February 14th for extra points with your squeeze.

The tours are offered between Saturday February 1st and Saturday, February 15th.

While you stroll into the depth of the iconic Ruby Falls, lit only as it would have been before Edison, you’ll hear the story of two lovers that will capture your hearts.

“Romance at Ruby is inspired by the captivating love story at the heart of Ruby Falls. Leo’s love for Ruby led him to accidentally find what is considered by many to be one of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls,” says Hollie Baranick, Tours and Special Projects Manager. “These after-hours tours provide an adventurous and unique way for couples to celebrate the Valentine’s season.”

Before the tour through the caverns, visit the Lookout Mountain Tower to take in the stunning views and star-filled sky. Relax by the cozy fire in the historic Ruby Falls castle’s limestone fireplace until your cave adventure begins.

Reservations are required for this memorable date night and can be made online at www.rubyfalls.com. Tickets to Romance at Ruby are $94.95 per couple and include the special Valentine’s-themed after-hours Lantern Tour, keepsake photo, and gift.

Purchase tickets early, as this multi-night event sells out quickly.
