Have you heard of the Summerhill Atlanta?
It’s the mixed-use community born from the redevelopment of Atlanta’s former Olympic stadium and surroundings. Summerhill is walkable and bikeable; minutes from downtown, midtown, and the airport, and features culture, food, entertainment, academics, housing, and world-class offices. Take that, Battery!
There’s a ton of activities planned at Summerhill this month – to include those celebrating Dry January, or not.
This January, Summerhill is packed with cool events and fresh ways to kick off the year. Whether you’re skipping booze for Dry January, diving into art and culture, or craving winter flavors, there’s plenty to enjoy.
At Little Bear, their non-alcoholic spirit takes the spotlight. One of six cocktail menu spots always features a mocktail crafted with this NA spirit. Prefer something stronger? They’ll add a splash of alcohol if you’re feeling spirited.
Press Shop has you covered with Ghia sodas, brut rosé, NA bubbles, red wine, and three Australian wine alternatives. Bonus? They’ve got two fun events lined up:
- Jan. 23, 7-9 p.m.: Artist Showcase with Brit Webber — Meet Brit Webber and check out her newest works during an opening reception. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while you soak in the creativity.
- Jan. 25, 12-3 p.m.: PAWS @ Press Shop — Swing by to meet adorable adoptable dogs. Big Daddy Biscuits will be handing out treats for all the good pups who find their forever homes.
Halfway Crooks is embracing Dry January with Brevet Pils, their new NA beer. You’ll find it in the taproom and at local beer shops. On Jan. 25, they’ll also debut Te Quiero, a pop-up concept bringing flavorful bites to the HC Biergarten.
Need some cozy vibes? Wood’s Chapel BBQ is dishing out their signature chili this winter. And stay tuned—they’re planning a pig picking and oyster roast soon.
Southern National is keeping things classy with a non-alcoholic espresso martini. It’s the perfect winter pick-me-up.
