An exciting Black History Month event is coming to the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta!

Join the College Football Hall of Fame in celebrating Black History Month with a special appearance by internationally acclaimed artist, Steve Skipper. Known for his hyper-realistic masterpieces and groundbreaking achievements, Skipper will lead a compelling discussion on his artistic journey, his transformative life story, and the meticulous process behind his work.

This special event accompanies a temporary exhibit honoring the incredible work and story of Skipper, whose art is a testament to perseverance, talent, and resilience, and offers a unique lens into history through unmatched storytelling and dedication. Some specific works that will be on display include:

  • “The Renaissance Man” – Dedicated to Ambassador Andrew Young
  • “The Process Fulfilled” – Dedicated to legendary coach Nick Saban
    • Unveiled last autumn, guests will be some of the first to view this piece
  • “The DNA Engrained” – Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama
  • “In Perfect Peace” – Civil Rights leader Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth

The event will take place on Thursday, February 6, at the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, with a specific time still being determined.
