- Soak up the sun: Pensacola offers nearly 40 miles of white sand beaches and emerald waters, perfect for family activities like paddling, birding, beachcombing and fishing at Pensacola Beach, Perdido Key or Gulf Islands National Seashore.
- Explore a military fort: At Fort Pickens, located within Gulf Islands National Seashore, visitors can learn all about the storied past of the historic 19th-century military fort that played a crucial role in protecting Pensacola during the Civil War.
- Discover aviation wonders: Naval Air Station Pensacola is home to the National Naval Aviation Museum with over 4,000 artifacts, restored aircraft, and flight simulators, plus the Pensacola Lighthouse which is worth the 177-step climb to the top for stunning Gulf Coast views.
- Step back in time: Pensacola’s Historic Village includes over 20 historic properties and museums with guided tours available. Visitors can access the Pensacola Museum of History, Pensacola Children’s Museum, Pensacola Museum of Art and Historic Pensacola Village with the purchase of a ticket here.
- Dive into adventure: Laguna’s Adventure Park is a one-stop spot for family fun, featuring zip lines, go-karts, splash pads, mini golf and a ropes course. The park also offers dolphin cruises and night time glow paddling!

- Scenic 90 Cafe: A 1950s-style diner offering a family-friendly vibe with hearty breakfast options, burgers and classic comfort food. For dessert, indulge in pies, milkshakes, root beer floats or classic sundaes.
- Flounder’s Chowder House: This fun spot features a pirate-themed play area for kids and sand volleyball courts. Its menu is packed with fresh seafood, steaks, pasta and sandwiches
- Red Fish Blue Fish: Named after the popular Dr. Seuss book, this waterside eatery has yard games for kids, some of the best sunset views and an expansive menu with everything from fresh-caught fish to burgers.
- The Garden at Palafox + Main: The Garden is made up of four food trucks housed in vintage Airstreams serving unique foods from around the world. There is also a bar, restaurant and five kiosks that sell snacks, specialty drinks and dishes.
