Sandy Springs is ready to help you get in the spirit of the holidays! All are invited to join on December 8, 2024, for the annual Sparkle Sandy Springs celebration, presented by the City. The City Springs District will be transformed into a winter wonderland, delighting residents with festive traditions, a nighttime parade, and the lighting of the Christmas tree and Menorah.

Festivities kick off at 4 p.m. at City Springs, featuring food trucks, holiday music by Ansley Stewart, snow machines, and the Sparkle gift market where attendees can find the perfect gift for themselves or someone their list.  For those looking to secure the best view of the parade, Sparkle Wonderland won’t disappoint. There, guests can frolic in the snow, enjoy a hot cup of cocoa, or snap a holiday photo with one of the larger-than-life inflatables of Santa Claus, The Grinch, Rudolph, and more.

The Sparkle Village, located near the City Green, will showcase unique miniature homes, decorated by local schools, non-profits and businesses, each adorned with twinkling lights and festive designs. New this year, guests can vote for their favorite home with the winner earning bragging rights for the entire year. After voting for their top pick, guests are invited to warm up with hot chocolate, or a beverage from CityBar & Cafe, and hit the ice at Skate City Springs.

The award-winning Sparkle parade begins at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Mount Vernon Hwy and Lake Forest near the water tower, continues down Mount Vernon Hwy, turns left onto Galambos Rd., passes the towering 3-story Christmas tree, and concludes in front of Sandy Springs City Hall. After the parade, the celebration continues with the lighting of the Menorah, and Mayor Rusty Paul will count down to the lighting of the Christmas tree, wrapping up the evening at 7 p.m.
