Sip, Stroll, Repeat: Roswell’s Summer Traditions Pour It On

You can tell it’s summer in Roswell when the drinks start getting their own voting season. Summer Sippin’ is back June 17 through August 19, and it’s exactly what it sounds like: a months-long excuse to wander the city tasting colorful, overachieving beverages while casually pretending you’re doing it “for the votes.”

The Summer Sippin’ Rules Are Easy

Here’s how it works:

• Check out the participating spots at summersippin.com
• Order the special drink—could be a cocktail, mocktail, or something that defies categorization
• Rate it through the app or the website
• Repeat until you’re out of sun or self-control

This year’s lineup is expected to be full of citrusy stunners, garden-party concoctions, and a few drinks that make you wonder how much time bartenders have been spending with their herb gardens.

At the end of the season, the top-rated drinks get crowned Best Sips in Roswell, which is mostly bragging rights, but also a solid excuse to go back and order it again.

Sunset Sips: A Sippin’ Side Quest at Chattahoochee Nature Center

If you prefer your summer sipping with a side of river views and turtles, the Sunset Sips series at the Chattahoochee Nature Center is another way to raise a glass.

These Thursday night concerts happen along the water and feel like a picnic with live music and less pressure to make conversation. Bring your own food, grab a drink (or a few), and let the music and cicadas do the rest.
