If you’re craving some animal time before the Zoo opens to the public, the Rise and Dine events at Zoo Atlanta are a must!

At the Rise and Dine with the Animals events, you can enjoy a continental breakfast by Proof of the Pudding while also enjoying an early morning view of the animals as they get ready to start their day.

Breakfasts will include fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, hot tea, and juice, with an option to add a mimosa for 21+ guests when you register.

Each program will include an educational component to learn more about the species, time with an Animal Care Professional to hear about the individuals in their care, a memorable takeaway connected to the featured animal, and Zoo admission to stay and enjoy the Zoo at the end of the program.

Each event focuses on a different species, so you can choose a date that features an animal you are most interested in learning more about.

Dates for the upcoming Rise and Dine with the Animals events are…

  • July 20 (registration closes 7/11): Tiger and Clouded Leopard
  • August 3 and 31: African Savanna
  • September 14 and 28: Pandas
  • October 5 and 12: Gorillas

The event takes place from 8:30am – 9:30am before the Zoo opens to the general public. Pre-registration is required, and tickets include admission to the Zoo. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult. Tickets are $65 for non-members and $52 for members. Note: Registration closes for each event 9 days before the event. You can REGISTER HERE.
