I know – there’s a national day for everything. But here’s one that we at 365 Atlanta Traveler can really get behind. It’s that time of year again! National Margarita Day is coming up on February 22nd, so get those limes ready.
Todd McCalla invented the unofficial national holiday sometime around 2008. Who’s Todd McCalla who ask? Why, he’s the guy that invented National Margarita Day of course! Here’s a great way to spend it in Atlanta. .
Two Urban Licks is hosting a National Margarita Day Dinner on February 22nd at 6:30PM. If you’ve never been to Two Urban Licks, it’s a particular favorite of ours as mentioned in our Atlanta Date Night Ideas post. It “gets two-thumbs up for us because it feels romantic even if you want to wear your jeans and flip-flops.”
The night will include 4 Mexican-inspired courses paired with 4 different margs, all for $65 a plate. Executive Chef Chad Clevenger never disappoints, and we feel completely at ease recommending him for any darn national day that may come along.
