Celebrate MLK Weekend of Service with Arabia Mountain NHA

Looking for a way to honor Martin Luther King, Jr., during MLK weekend? Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area is offering several events as part of their Weekend of Service.

The Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area is hosting several events during the Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend of Service. From habitat restoration to clean ups at some of the Heritage Area’s most beautiful locales, there is something for everyone.

Here are some of the events you can expect…

1/16 – Birds of Georgia Habitat Restoration at Lyon Farm, 9AM to 3PM
1/17 – MLK Day History Harvest at Stonecrest Library, 10AM to 1PM
1/18 – MLK Day Clean up at the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, 10AM to 3:30PM, (2 sessions)
1/20 – MLK Day of Service at Panola Mountain State Park, 9AM to 12PM
1/20 – Lithonia Park Clean Up, 1PM to 3PM
