Miracle on Peachtree’s Festive Holiday Events Lineup

Livable Buckhead is a community organization dedicated to the long term vitality and prosperity of the Buckhead community.

In support of that mission the organization had pulled together a pretty impressive holiday calendar to help you round out your festivities this season.

Miracle on Peachtree’s Festive Holiday Events Lineup

Livable Buckhead is set to create another “Miracle on Peachtree” this holiday season, hosting festive events including hot chocolate crawls, Buc rides with Santa and a Christmas tree lighting in Charlie Loudermilk park.

The centerpiece of Livable Buckhead’s festivities is on Saturday, Dec. 7, when the nonprofit organization hosts three events in and around Buckhead Village District:

  • Wreath Decorating for Atlanta Fire Rescue and Atlanta Police Department – Saturday, Dec 7th, 12pm to 2pm. Show your support for the first responders at Atlanta Fire Rescue and Atlanta Police Departments by decorating wreaths that will add holiday cheer to all 43 fire stations and police precincts across the city throughout the season. This event will take place in the Veranda in Buckhead Village.
  • Hot Chocolate Crawl at Buckhead Village – Saturday, Dec 7th, 4pm to 7pm. Livable Buckhead invites visitors to stroll in Buckhead Village District and adjacent areas, stopping at designated locations to enjoy hot chocolate and specialty cocktails along the way. Local musicians and holiday music will add to the festive atmosphere with performances at various points along the walking route. Admission is free and a commemorative campfire mug is available for a $5 donation to Livable Buckhead.
  • Tree Lighting in Charlie Loudermilk Park – Saturday, Dec 7th, 6:45pm to 7:45pm. Livable Buckhead invites visitors to stroll from the Hot Chocolate Crawl in Buckhead Village District to Charlie Loudermilk Park (3110 Roswell Rd. NE) for a Holiday Tree Lighting. The Georgia Boy Choir will perform carols and holiday classics during this free celebration to welcome the holiday season and light Buckhead’s 24-foot tree. Guests will also enjoy hot chocolate and festive snacks from Audi Atlanta and Trader Joe’s.

Livable Buckhead’s other holiday festivities include:

  • Hot Chocolate Crawl on Peachtree – Saturday, Dec 14th, 5:30pm to 8:30pm – Livable Buckhead invites visitors to stroll Peachtree Road, Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza areas, stopping at designated locations to enjoy hot chocolate and specialty cocktails along the way. Local musicians and holiday music will add to the festive atmosphere with performances at various points along the walking route.
    • Admission is free. Check in at the Lenox Square main entrance or Phipps Plaza’s Monarch Court and make a $5 donation to Livable Buckhead to receive a commemorative ceramic campfire mug.
    • The Hot Chocolate Crawl will end with holiday festivities and a raffle at the InterContinental Hotel, in the Winter Chalet, at 8:30pm.
  • Santa Rides the Buc – Friday, Dec. 6th, 7am to 12pm. Santa Claus is making a special stop on the Buc with an enchanting pop-up holiday experience. Enjoy a decked-out shuttle ride, strike a pose at the photo-op station, indulge in sweet treats and snag some fantastic swag giveaways.
