Milton’s Garden Dinner Series Returns May 4, and Yes—It’s Still Magical

It’s back. That dreamy little dinner party tucked behind the white-tablecloth farmhouse in historic Crabapple. Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails is reviving its beloved Garden Dinner Series starting May 4, and if you’ve been, you already know. If you haven’t—imagine sipping cocktails outdoors, wandering a garden that puts your backyard to shame, and eating zucchini noodles while a cellist plays nearby. It’s that kind of night.

Milton’s Garden Dinner Series Returns May 4, and Yes—It’s Still Magical

Held on select Sundays through October, each dinner begins with a garden reception—think passed hors d’oeuvres, a welcome cocktail that tastes like it was snipped straight from the herb beds, and a casual garden tour with the chefs. One year, my drink had cucumber, St. Germain, and tiny basil flowers. I still think about it.

Then comes dinner—family-style and open-air, set right in the middle of Milton’s Acre. We’re talking mismatched chairs, hydrangeas in mason jars, and wine that just keeps appearing.

Chef AJ Jones and her team build the menu around whatever is thriving in the garden that week, which means you’ll never see the same plate twice.

Past dinners have included prosciutto-stuffed squash blossoms, pimiento cheese and crawfish, roast duckling with sweet potatoes and oyster mushrooms, and a banana pudding ice cream sandwich rolled in Nilla wafers. I once threatened to hide leftovers in my handbag, and I meant it.

Each ticket includes four courses, wine pairings, and a garden full of strangers who usually end the night as new friends. It’s relaxed but elevated, intimate but festive, and yes—kind of a perfect date night. The experience lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours, just long enough to feel like an escape without needing to book a babysitter overnight.

Here’s the full 2025 schedule:

  • May 4
  • May 18
  • June 1
  • October 5
  • October 12
  • October 19

Tickets are $165 (wine, tax, and gratuity included) and only available in advance. They tend to disappear fast, so if you’re even thinking about it, grab them early on Eventbrite. No ticket swaps, no last-minute refunds, and absolutely no regrets.

The last time I went was 2019 – 6 years ago! But here are some images from my experience. It was dreamy!
