Land of Oz in Beech Mountain, North Carolina, will be hosting their annual Autumn at Oz Festival, celebrating the 85th anniversary of the classic MGM film, The Wizard of Oz, on select dates in September…and tickets are going on sale soon!

Tickets go on sale for this popular event on June 5 at 9am.

This one-of-a-kind event immerses you into the magical Land of Oz on the site of the original 1970’s theme park. Autumn at Oz combines a festival atmosphere with a fully interactive and immersive theatrical experience.

The adventure starts during your arrival — park guests can arrive in Oz by chairlift while soaking in breathtaking mountain views! Inside the park, the Over the Rainbow Observation Deck offers one of the most beautiful views in the Southeast, granting a hundred-mile radius view of North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, and Tennessee.

Once you’ve taken in the natural beauty…it’s time to head on down the Yellow Brick Road to Oz!

Visitors can explore Gale’s Kansas farm, visit Auntie Em and Uncle Henry’s home, escape into the newly renovated Tornado Storm Cellar, and of course, walk on the Yellow Brick Road. Along the way, you’ll of course meet some of your favorite characters…such as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and the Wicked Witch herself!

Autumn at Oz also features food and craft vendors, official Land of Oz souvenirs and Wizard of Oz memorabilia, face painting, and more.
