Kids to Parks Day is an annual day of outdoor exploration and fun at local, state, and national parks across the country. Each year, this special day is hosted on the third Saturday in May — which makes this year’s date Saturday, May 18.

This year marks the 14th year of celebrating Kids to Parks Day.

Kids to Parks Day encourages kids and families to get outside and create their own adventure at thousands of local park events and programs.  The National Park Trust works with local communities to set up special events at area parks that make it easy to get outside and have some fun.

Several parks around the metro Atlanta area are hosting special events as part of the program. You’ll find games, crafts, fun activities, and so much more! The events are FREE.
