While I am begging you to reconsider a tight academic schedule during school cancellations, I do appreciate (and identify with) the need to keep those kiddos busy. We started this collection on Facebook, but with an ever-growing list of community resources I think it is easier to read if we collect them all in a post.
Just like our list of Atlanta closings and cancellations, we’ll keep this updated daily for a while as well.
Scholastic Learn at Home – 20 days of learning activities
Daily Art Tutorials from McHarper Manor – Focused on elementary age, but all are welcome
Art for Kids Hub – My kids’ favorite. There is a subscription, but TONS of free things here too.
Free Backyard Fun – Meant for summer, but most of it it works now too.
Storyline Online – Famous actors reading kiddo books
After 18 years in software development, Lesli bailed on the corporate scene. When she’s not traveling, she’s hiking in the mountains or checking out Atlanta’s culinary scene, whiskey in hand.
Lesli has two kiddos -Cooper and Elliot- plus two bonus kids currently at UGA, and she’s happily married to her soul mate.
