Last month we introduced you to the returning Wildwoods exhibit at Fernbank, which is about to explode with light and life for another great season.
Here’s an update on what to expect, to include the vibrant Winter Wonderlands exhibit available for a limited time.
Fernbank Museum is getting ready to launch the 3rd season of their anticipated Wildwoods:AGLOW exhibit, which runs from November 8th, 2024 to February 23rd, 2025 on select evenings.
WildWoods: AGLOW uses dramatically artistic, glowing scenes and original music compositions to immerse guests into a nightime wonderland of biodiversity. Highlights include an interactive tulip poplar pod, projections of nocturnal wildlife, glowing native plant species, larger-than-life incandescent mushrooms and more. New this year, guests will discover large dandelions, fluttering dragonflies, swarming bat displays, glowing garden towers and more along the boardwalk.
In addition the seasonal cultural exhibit Winter Wonderland: Celebrations & Traditions Around the World will return to Fernbank Museum on Nov. 23, 2024 for its 15th season. This dazzling holiday experience will span two floors of the museum, showcasing different decorated trees and display cases that recognize various celebrations, events and cultural traditions from around the world.
WildWoods: AGLOW is included with Fernbank’s after hours admission. Most of the time this is a family-friendly area, but does correspond with adult-only Fernbank After Dark on Nov 8th, Dec 13th, Jan 10th and Feb 14th.
