Haw Creek Park

Haw Creek Park opened in 2012, and it is a unique playground in the shade that kids will love! It isn’t your typical playground, with swings and slides…oh no…this is much better! There are three large circles of climbing structures nestled within the trees.  The structures look like large tree trunks, ants, bears, and leaves.  Your kids will wear themselves out climbing their way over and around these obstacles.  And if not, then set off on the three-mile hiking trail within the park.

This is a county park, so there are picnic tables, water fountains, clean restrooms and more! Even if you don’t live close, this playground is worth the ride!
