Thinking About How to Spend Spring Break? This Southeast City Will Help

How are you spending this year’s spring break with your family? Vacation or staycation, for gosh sakes do something! Have you heard the saying, you only have 18 summers to enjoy with your kids? I’m pretty sure that applies to spring break as well.

If you’re in the Southeast or beyond, Chattanooga is a great family destination to spend a few days or more and not even come close to running out of things to do. This year Chattanooga is making things a whole lot easier with Spring Break Safari.

21+ Best Things To Do in Chattanooga for the Entire Family

Spring Break Safari in Chattanooga takes place from Friday, March 8th to Sunday, April 7th. This new and unique offering is a self-guided and organized way to spend some time in and around the city with your kids. You’re whole visit is organized around a special self-paced scavenger hunt, expertly designed. The hunt takes place over four Chattanooga districts that bring you to those popular attractions the city is famous for, as well as those lesser known but just as cool things to do that kids and parents will love.

The hunt will take you to your choice of many different participating venues with specially designed programs for your spring break fun. With activities like “Be a Rockquest Adventurer” at Rock City, or “Be a Zookeeper” at the Chattanooga Zoo, each spot allows you to dive deeper into the exciting hunt for fun and knowledge with checklists of activities to accomplish and treasures to find.

The Spring Break Safari site allows you to pick and choose from a series of adventures categorized by your children’s interest, like Budding Artist or Artisanal Adventurer, and builds you a map to follow on your quest.

They also have a pretty great list of other activities and events happening during the spring break time period. Many of which are tours, which we at 365 are huge fans of.

For an even more exhaustive list of things to do, places to stay, and let’s face it, the most important thing where to eat, see our post here. In fact we have so much great content on all things Chattanooga. We don’t want you to miss a thing.
