Gather up your cloaks, capes and coats — it’s time for CastleFaire at Uhuburg Castle in Helen!
Here ye, here ye! Uhuburg Castle in Helen, GA, is hosting their second annual CastleFaire, a Winter Renaissance festival you don’t want to miss.
CastleFaire will take place January 17-19, 2025, and tickets are on sale now here.
This year, CastleFaire will feature food options, amazing festival performances, and an artisan market. Additionally, a fantasy ball will take place on Saturday night of the festival.
During this year’s festival, you can walk through Uhuburg Castle in Helen while enjoying the handmade wares at the Artisan Market. They’ve got an awesome lineup of performances scheduled this year, including…

- Combat Demos and Workshops by Appalachian Sword Club
- Medieval Music by Larry Dearing
- Pipes by Cory Whipple
- Full Contact Combat by Palmetto Knights
- Living History by Ken Johnson with History Now
- Shanty, folk, Celtic music and more by The Crossjacks
- Puppeteering by Adam Clarke
- Punch & Judy Show by White Knight Studios (on Saturday)
- Organ Grinder Music by Van Walls (on Sunday)
- Belly Dancing by Visions of the Oasis
A Medieval food tent, a breakfast food truck, and Texas-style brisket are some of the food offerings you’ll find in 2025.
The festival will take place Friday, January 17 from 11am-5pm; Saturday, January 18 from 10am to 5pm; and Sunday, January 19 from 10am-4pm. CastleFaire is a winter festival and primarily outdoor experience that will be held rain or shine.
Tickets are $20 for ages 5+ and young squires 4 and under are FREE. You can find out more information, including costume weapons policies, HERE.
