Caney Creek Preserve Is Perfect For Young Imaginations!

Caney Creek Preserve is a great little park tucked away in Forsyth County.  The playground has a terrific spider web climbing structure, a dinosaur dig area, and a water play feature.  These are primarily in the shade.

There are also 1.2 miles of walking trails in the forest, with interpretive signs along the way.  You could fill an entire day here!

There are two entrances to this preserve. Both are on Caney Road, not too far from each other.  You want to be at the north-most entrance, which is where the playground, dog park, and amphitheater are located.

There is a natural surface trail just near the playground, which takes you to the interpretive trail.  Maps are available on site and on the web, but it is pretty easy to discern once you get there. Parking at the right entrance is key.
