New Study Says Atlanta is 2024’s 5th Best Place to Get Married

WalletHub has released their report on 2024’s Best Places to Get Married, and the ATL came in at #5. Here’s why Atlanta is a great place to get to get hitched, and which spots are not-so-great.

New Study Says Atlanta is 2024’s 5th Best Place to Get Married

With the average wedding in America costing about $30,000, couples are looking harder than ever for the most wedding-friendly destinations.

What makes a location wedding-friendly?

According to WalletHub, factors like cost-effectiveness, convenience, and enjoyment all play into whether a destination is wedding-friendly. WalletHub compared more than 180 of the biggest U.S. cities across 26 key indicators, and the data set ranges from average wedding cost to venues and event spaces per capita to wedding vendors. 

When all was said and done, Atlanta came in at a very respectable #5! Here’s how Atlanta ended up in such a great spot…

  • 38th – Event Planners per Capita
  • 5th – Bridal Shops per Capita

  • 10th – Musicians & DJs per Capita
  • 13th – Videographers & Photographers per Capita
