The Atlanta Science Festival is back, bringing two weeks of hands-on fun, mind-blowing experiments, and discoveries for all ages. From March 8-22, metro Atlanta will be buzzing with more than 100 interactive events, all leading up to the massive Exploration Expo at Piedmont Park.

What to Expect
Science takes over Atlanta in unexpected ways, with events happening in parks, museums, breweries, theaters, and even nature trails. Expect:
- Hands-on Workshops: Get up close with robotics, brain imaging, and chemistry experiments.
- Live Science Shows: Watch scientists bring crazy concepts to life with exciting demonstrations.
- Outdoor Adventures: Explore tree treks, salamander searches, and guided hikes.
- Creative Experiences: Science meets storytelling, art, and even Lego-building challenges.
- STEM Career Inspiration: Kids and adults can see real-world science in action, from space exploration to bioengineering.

Festival Kickoff at Georgia Tech
The festival launches on March 8 with Celebrate STEAM: Atlanta Science Festival Launch at Georgia Tech. Families can explore robotics, bioengineering, nanotechnology, and much more, with hands-on activities and live demonstrations across campus. It’s a free event, but registration is required at the Area 4 Visitor Parking lot on State Street NW and Ferst Drive.

The Grand Finale at Piedmont Park
The Exploration Expo on March 22 wraps up the festival with a full day of interactive exhibits, live science shows, and hands-on experiments. If you’ve got curious kids—or just love geeking out over science—this is the place to be.

How to Join the Fun
