Come ready to catch some fish at this years Youth Fishing Derby. The derby is for children age 4 to 12 years (must be accompanied by an adult). This program is free, however space is limited around the lake, so make sure to pre-register. The lake will be fully stocked with catfish so make sure to bring plenty of night crawlers and worms to catch a lot of fish!

As part of our lesson, we’ll be preparing and canning freshly made peach butter from local farm-fresh peaches to take home, and learning the entire process of water-bath canning from start to finish.
This workshop is great for the seasoned canner and beginners.
