Atlanta kicks off 2019 with a blend of old favorites and new experiences to savor, most notably all the community activities to enjoy leading up to Super Bowl LIII (trust us: even if you aren’t going to the game, there’s fun to be had). On the Second Sunday of each month, the High Museum hosts a day of family fun that includes FREE admission for every member of your family. In addition to taking in all the amazing exhibits within the museum, there are many special activities created for children and families.
Ice skating amid gleaming skyscrapers on a chilly winter evening is magical. Outdoor ice skating in Atlanta has become quite popular over the years, and the 10,000 square foot track style rink at Atlantic Station ice rink is one of the coolest venues because of it’s location among gleaming skyscrapers. It’s the closest you can get to skating at Rockefeller Center without hopping a flight to NYC.

RUN, JUMP, or even FLY to Children’s Museum of Atlanta as we welcome our newest temporary exhibit focusing on getting up and moving while learning about how to keep your body healthy and happy! While you are here, swing by the CMA stage to experience the original Mini Musical, Planet Rock, where the audience follows planets Mercury and Jupiter on their quest to get Earthlings back on their feet! Next, leap over to our Art Studio to experiment with art and movement! Guests are also invited to check out our Science Bar and Build It Labs to make sure that both our bodies AND our brains are getting the exercise they need!

For the first time, the NFL has introduced variable ticket pricing for Super Bowl Experience. With the purchase of one $20 adult ticket, up to 3 complimentary tickets for kids 12 and under will be offered at the Super Bowl Experience Box Office only Monday, January 28 through Wednesday, January 30.

Baby Book Club is designed for caregivers with infants from newborns through age 14 months. In each 20-minute session, a High Museum teaching artist will pair a book with an artwork to get you and your baby talking. Toddler Tours are physically interactive, twenty-minute educational experiences for young children. Building on budding imaginations, we use dance and drama to interpret art and learn about museums.
