Ready for a Valentine’s Day celebration that’s out of this world?!

Blast off to Atlanta Botanical Garden this Valentine’s Day for their Valentines in the Garden event. This year’s theme is “Fly Me to the Moon,” and it’s guaranteed to be filled with all the 1960s vintage glamour you can handle.

This Valentine’s Day, you can spend a romantic evening with your love under the stars in the Atlanta Botanical Garden where jazzy Sinatra sounds will serenade you through an evening of dancing and dining at their Valentines in the Garden event. It’s the perfect place to cozy up to your loved one and celebrate the day in a special way.

Stroll through the Garden on a lovely winter’s night and warm up inside where you will find stellar sounds, decadent tastes and lively entertainment. From stargazing to lighting up the dance floor, guests will be over the moon on Valentines!

You’ll find several indoor spaces inspired by 1960s vintage glamour featuring live music, dancing, cocktails, light bites and the ONLY public nighttime viewing of Orchid Daze: Reflections in Bloom.

Valentines in the Garden Details

  • Guests will enter the Hardin Visitor Center and enjoy posing under the giant Crescent Moon and the evening sky with celestial performers. Upon entering you will be greeted with a special treat!
  • The evening’s headliner, Joe Gransden and his band, will Fly You to the Moon with sounds of Sinatra in a 60s Vegas-themed nightclub reminiscent of the glamourous time when the Rat Pack, tuxedos, feathered dancers and martinis were all the rage! Enjoy decadent small plates provided by Proof of the Pudding and Bold Catering & Design and come dressed to impress!
  • It is written in the stars that you will be dancing to one of the Garden’s fan favorites, the Infinity Show Band in Mershon Hall! Warm up with a drink from the coffee bar and enjoy a celestial sweet treat with your sweetie provided by Affairs to Remember!
  • Recommit to each other with live vow renewals performed in Day Hall followed by a “first dance” with Joe Gransden!
  • The sweet scents of the orchids will have you craving the delicious morsels provided by Low Country Catering, and singer/guitarist Angel Gabriel will romance you while you warm up with a drink from the coffee bar and enjoy a treat with your Valentine.
  • Don’t miss the chance to light up the sky with Amp’d Entertainment when Longleaf Restaurant transforms into a vibrant dance party complete with glowing foam sticks and an LED dance floor! Fall in love with the delicacies provided by Party Execs and sip a specialty drink in our pop-up celestial cocktail lounge.  Head upstairs to the rooftop where the fireplace and heaters will keep you cozy while stargazing through the telescopes of the Atlanta Astronomy Club.
  • Valentines in the Garden includes savory and sweet light bites featuring Atlanta’s finest caterers but does not include dinner portions. Cash bars available throughout the Garden.

The event will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 6:30-10:30pm. Tickets are $80 for ABG members and $85 for non-members. Tickets are on sale now. Admission includes access to all themed areas and light bites. All bars are credit/debit card only.
