5 Seasons Brewery | Midtown1000 Marietta Street NW
Atlanta, Ga Also at The Prado and in Alpharetta
A friend of mine told me about 5 Seasons Brewery. Homemade bread, craft beer, and locally farmed ingredients. It took me about five seconds to set up a “family date” for the first available Friday night. We were not disappointed!
The boys selected eats from the Kiddo Menu….fries (regular and sweet potato,) burgers, chicken, and … get this…a bowl of grapes! When a restaurant serves a bowl of grapes on their menu, you KNOW they “get” being a parent. And to top it off, kids eat free on Sundays. YEAH!
We started with the cheese plate…which included cheese, but also (real, made inhouse) butter, apples, apple butter, prosciutto, and their killer bread This bread is made with the grains left over from the beer they brew onsite. And heavenly!
Hubs had fried chicken….it was a FULL chicken. Fried. With mashed potatoes and greens. I picked the duck, with bok choy and mushrooms. Both were amazing. And the plates were HUGE. All four of us took home doggy bags for lunch the next day. Also, there are a decent number of Gluten Free options, too!
The atmosphere is welcoming and casual. There is also outdoor seating also, for warmer months. We will be back! Can’t wait!
Disclosure: No one asked me. No one paid me. I went on a friend’s recommendation, and it totally paid off! As always, if I didn’t think it was killer, I wouldn’t write about. #keepingitreal
